workforce to the manufacture of venetian blinds and awnings. As
customer tastes trended away from drapery products to a more
"high-tech look" in the seventies, mini blinds and woven woods were
added to the product line. During the eighties, new products such as
wood blinds, micro blinds and pleated shades were successfully
introduced, and existing products such as vertical blinds became
very popular.
